Numismedia list it at $80/ea. You are paying $56/ea for the lot.... so I guess it's a good price vs retail.

Some sold on Teletrade recently for between $50-$90. So it could be a good deal, depending what day you sell. Personally, I think it's a decent deal. Though in my honest opinion, I would try and dump em for a profit ASAP. There are tons of these and I just don't see the price going up in the future.

Trust me, as soon as I receive them I am listing them separately starting at $60-70 a piece!

Honest sanity check reply to your question ... hoping to not rain on your parade ...

First ... seems to me that you are expecting there is enough demand out there for collectors to purchase 50 of these in relatively short order ... hoping you made the correct assessment on that.

MS65 and better examples of this coin are not tough to find ... truly have to wonder just how many folks out there have an NGC MS67RD on their want list.

Second ... did the seller actually state anywhere that all 50 of these are actually 1995-P DDO-001. I read the original listing ... it certainly implies these are DDO-001 ... and I'm sure you know there are other 1995 Philly mint LMC DDO.

Last ... let's assume it's all good ... all 50 of these are indeed DDO-001 and the overwhelming demand from the collecting community snatches them all up at $65 each ... in that best case scenario you will make a profit of about $340 on the entire lot after E-Bay fees ... not counting your time to manage all those transactions.

Will that be worth it to you?

Wishing you the best with this lot ... let us know how it turns out for you.

David

My stance is....the dealer sold them in a lot because the effort seen selling individually was just to high. My recommendation...pick the one you like best and sell the other 49 for $3150 BIN and walk away with a free 1995 DDO and only have to deal with one transaction. Will minimize your efforts.

Thanks for the reply NickelSearcher, I definitely researched all of it before making an offer. All of the coins are ddo-001 and I only plan on making 200-300 dollars over the next couple months (I have plenty of time!). Thanks for all the replies and advice guys! Good idea Unholyroller, I will definitely keep a free one for myself!

It is usually somewhat profitable to buy coins in bulk and then resell individually. Some challenges: (1) You have to spend a good bit of capital up front (opportunity cost), (2) You may saturate the market if you flood it with too much inventory (3) Labor hours required to list and sell each coin. Other jobs may be much more profitable per hour.

Well I'm a senior in highschool, and I just do this stuff on the side for some extra money. I partly collect valuable coins, and to earn money I buy coins in bulk and flip them for a profit to provide money for my actual collecting! Again thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated.
Rest in Peace

Seeing that many hi grade by one owner kinda cheapens the thrill of finding or buying one.

I assume youre going to use ebay and while itd be easier to list them all at once or have one listing with a ton available I would suggest list them one at a time. If you flood ebay with them people will think theyre real common and be less likely to buy them
