Your coin is a 500 kurush; the number "500" in Arabic numerals is at the bottom of the obverse (middle picture). here is the NGC data page for this coin. Unfortunately, there's an error in the catalogues which has been propagated onto this page; the correct weight is 36.08 grams, not the 17.54 grams shown on that page (that's the correct weight for a 250 kurush). The date on yours is accession year 1327 regnal year 4, written as 1327//4 (AD 1912). So your coin is genuine, but you'll notice the little discoloured knob on the rim at the top, visible as the discoloured patch on the edge-shot. That's where a jeweller has attached a loop, to allow the coin to be worn on a chain; the loop has since been broken off. That pretty much destroys the numismatic premium this coin might have had. However, there is still $918 worth of gold in it. To answer the other question, the "book" fineness is .917, which converts to 22 carat.

Tyvm!
But is it only worth $918?
36.08 grams total.
Fineness of 0.917.
Amount of gold in the coin 33.09 grams.
Price of gold per gram is at the moment $57.01.
So shouldnt the coin be worth 57.01 * 33.09 = $1886.5 ?

I'm willing to bet he accidentally used the wrong figure, that of the 250 kurush. Double the figure he gave you and you have almost the same numbers as yours.

Yes, that was my thought also.
The fact that the seller of the coin lists a weight of 35.9 g, not 36.08, and that its the book fineness that is 0.917 should that maybe prevent me from buying this coin which is for sail at the price $1844.25?

The weight seems to be within reason, especially given that it was worn, polished etc over the years. The decision on weather its fineness is suitable for you, well, that seems to be a personal choice. Gold below spot, not a bad deal...if you like the coin.
