I think I've found a date variety - the second 2 in the date is out of alignment with the rest of the date.
It doesn't look like an overdate to me.

Well, the 1922 over 1 variety usually has the last 2 in the date raised like on your coin. However, you would also see the serif from the 1 sticking out from the left side of the loop of the 2. I don't see that on your coin from the pictures, maybe it's there when you look at it under magnification?
