1998 LMC Die Deterioration?

Hi,

The fine lines just look like some patchy polishing of the die affecting that area in question.

I am still a bit unsure, however, about the deeper groves which appear above the 'I' and above the right part of the 'N'.

This type of lettering is found on alot of 1980's. I tend to save these just becoz there are so many extreme ones. I have seen them mainly of the 1986 and 1988. I do find some in the 1990's too.
