Went through about $200 in circ Washington quarters at the local coin show today. Found only 4 Type B Reverse Quarters. 1957 VF, 1957 VF, 1961 AU, 1964 AU. That's a pretty small percentage. There obviously getting harder to find....

Ya Harvey, they are getting scarcer.
I only found two this yr. so far.
Actually silver quarters period are getting
real scarce out in the wild.
These are eventually going to bring good premiums though.
The 56 and I think the 61 are the two scarcest.

Hey Indian..

Silver quarters are still plentiful as bulk silver around here. I think the 1962 might be tougher ( in Unc) than the 1961. That's just my observation from what I'm able to find out there.. I still smile big when I find a circ 1956 but I don't find them often...

Hey Indian,

Haven't found any circ Rev C's in silver for quite a while.
I did snag an XF raw piece off of ebay recently for about $30. I think they are VERY undervalued...

Thanks on the note about the 62.
I guess at dealers and shows silver is more plentiful.
Have not had a chance to hit either lately. Only find what I buy
from others or in bank rolls etc.
I think $30.00 was a good deal for you anyway on the "C"
Forgot what I had sold my 2 for over the years.
I think you had bought one at one time ?
I was thinking an Unc. C would be around $200.00
Wonder why the no interest ?

When more collectors find out about the Rev C and how scarce it actually is, demand should go up, and so should prices.... I would say a nice slabbed Unc is probably worth closer to $300

Just got back from a coin club meeting. Found a 1958 CH BU Rev B (unattributed by the dealer)and picked it up for $12.
