Here is another coin in my collection. It has no markings or year stamped on it anywhere?
Anyone know what it is?
It weights 28 grams.

This item is around the right weight for a Chinese Dollar, which it isn't.
I think this is a silver coin-like charm or a fantasy piece.

Nevertheless very interesting, and well worth keeping in a Chinese numisamtic collection.

It is a reproduction of a rare Chinese "5 Mace" coin with the inscription written in three languages and minted in 1890.

Authentic coins have a diameter of 34 mm and weigh 17.2 grams.

An authentic specimen may be seen at this website.

My bad....the proper weight is 18.9 grams for the coin above.....Unsure how I got that mixed up.....

Its 1 1/2" wide & is almost an 1/8th of an inch thick. It is NOT magnetic...

After looking at the genuine example Gary posted, this one most certainly is a modern copy made of the typical silverish, but non-silver and non-magnetic metal alloy. Do an electromagnetic test, it will just fall instead of reacting to the magnets.
