To be honest, never see this set, limited to 500 sets? COA seems fake. Coins are just regular.

Yes, it's a set given to mint employees. Notice, there is one of each general type of coin made by the mint:

Canadian circulation: Olympic Lucky Loonie
NCLT: Hologram Olympic $25
Bullion: SML
Foreign: 50c Fiji

What do you mean by that ? The mint gives their employees sets that are not released for general public ?

Last time I saw it on ebay was listing # 130755258014 at the end of August from Universalcoins. He has some info. in the listing. Hope it helps

Yes. But it would only be a big deal if it had unique coins. This one had coins anyone could get.

Compare that to the 2000p 50 cent. That was only released embedded in desk clocks given out by the mint. Less than 250 I think.

I still think this is a unique set. Maybe you can call the RCM and see if they have anymore information or a brochure. It's worth a try.

Mixed feelings.
Rare but I don't see the case and the piece of paper, which are the only 2 things that are different in this "set", as worth the extra money
