ENJOY....Kitco was deleted from the matrix due to a previously unknown fact that Kitco has an order minimum of $2500
Remember...these are premiums over spot and the yellow highlighted areas are the lowest premiums for that type

Unholyroller, this is much appreciated again. Great info in a compact space. I have a question as to whether you are considering only coins minted in 2012 or cheapest available? I assume you are considering only 2012? The reason I ask is, for example, you say NA for the Kookaburra from SilverTowne. However, I see the 2013 is available.

Again, thanks again for doing this. I'm sure it's tedious and takes up a significant amount of time, but I just want you to know that I look forward to looking through it for as long as you're willing to do it.

Yes...when able ( there are a couple exceptions where the vendor only sells "date of our choice") I use current issue coins. I do this to make this data as valuable as possible and keep things standardized. What I encourage anyone who uses this would be to use the top two or three for their investigation as there may be options they are willing to take that could further lower their cost. By limiting the variables it makes the comparisons have more meaning.

Question....so with kitco gone, could we add silvergoldbull? Nice Canadian company, and I have used them more than every other site. great prices and deals, but shipping is a bit up there. $20 flat rate, so its not as bad if you're getting a bit more. Just a thought...oh and they have a slew of payment options which is really fantastic, flexable and good service. JMHO. CHEERS! Oh and Thanks again for this weeks matrix!

Thanks again for the Matrix. It saved me some bucks on some JM bars at Goldmart.

Unholyroller - please help me out here. If I'm reading it correctly, your matrix shows the Goldmart premium for a 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple as being $9.07. Yet, when I looked at the Goldmart website minutes ago, they showed a silver spot of $33.92 and their price for a 1 oz CSM as $36.02, which would represent a premium of $2.10. I think I must be mis-reading something somewhere. What is it that I'm not getting right? Thanks for your help.

@ Freddy, I beleive the shipping costs have been added in and broken down per oz for us. That is, if I'm reding it right too.

Samsnate - thanks, but even shipping couldn't jack a +/-$2.10 per oz premium up to the >$9 ballpark. Shipping (generally speaking) is usually around $10 or $15 per $1K of product, so it never even approaches $7 per coin. Maybe if you had an order of one 1 oz coin shipped to you and paid the minimum shipping charge for $500 worth of product - I haven't worked that one out yet. That might do it but when I do an order, I don't order just one 1oz coin at a time.

Fat Freddy....be sure to read the legend below the matrix. The (1) is if you bought one coin and only one coin ( which many people do ) and (20) is if you bought twenty of the same coin. Yes, shipping is included in the listed premium and as you can see the premium gets lower as you buy more. Your assumption about shipping isn't even handed....different suppliers charge different shipping rates, some drastically so. Trust me, the numbers are correct...I contacted every one of them directly for their shipping and sales policies. Another thing you may be missing is that many either charge 2.95 or 2.99 percent up charge for credit cards...another "hidden fee". All my listings are for credit card as everyone takes them, but not all accept checks or other "cash" payments except wire transfers. With wire transfers most if not all have a $500 or higher minimum order...so you are often stuck with C.C. purchase. I am just trying to put together the ACTUAL cost per ounce you would pay based on advertised premium over spot PLUS all other charges. Shipping is a killer they really try to keep in the shadows. Much time and effort has been made to make sure these prices are accurate down to the penny.

I knew there had to be something that was eluding me. There was but now I've got it. Thanks for the clarification.
