Best Coin Folders

Many people mix up the terms of Folders and Albums. And there is a massive difference. And too, many, many companies make both. For an example try the Whitman web site and request a catalog. It is free and you would see a variety of both. Whitman is actually owned by a company called Harris. their company makes Whitman, Harris and United States Mint Folders and Albums both. If you just go to Google and type in coin Folders and coin Albums, you would find many other manufacturers of both such as littleton, Intercept Shield, etc.
A Folder is just that. A piece of paper with slotted cardboard for coins. They only show one side of the coins. An Album is sort of like a book where you turn pages that show both sides of the coins. The coins are covered with a piece of plastic that slides out. The Folder has no protection over the coins.
Once inside an Album the coins are protected from being touched. A Folder is just the opposite allowing fingers to touch coins. If you sneeze, cough, spit and a Folder is open, you could contaminate the coins. An Album would sort of protect the coins from that.
A Folder is sort of cheap. Usually only a few dollars. An Album, pending the manufacturer, can become expensive. Usually in the $20+ to even in the $30+ range.
Being new to this I'd suggest spending time looking into all of those one at a time. On this forum you would hear Dansco a lot. On others you may hear Whitman or Littleton or others. Try going to a coin or hobby store to see what they have and keep checking out what YOU want.

Nothing wrong with 2x2 pages and cardboard flips, but here are a few pointers. Make sure the pages are PVC free, take a whiff and if it smells like a shower curtain keep your coins away from them. When putting your coins in the cardboard flips use an air blower like a camera lens cleanser and take off the dust first.
