I took two sets of pictures for the Morgan dollar that I have for sale, and I was wondering which set you thought looked better. Set 1 Set 2

Picture #1. Details are MUCH more visible than pic 2.

I prefer the first set. I like the slightly darker exposure, particularly on the obverse. Great looking Morgan!

The one thing that bothers me about set one, is that it is slightly out of focus. (Near the date)

I like #1 over #2, but I think a #1 could be improved by being a bit brighter.

Set 2 has sharper detail and makes the strike look sharper (but I dont know if the coin really has that) My preference only!

Other than it being smaller, I find #2 superior. It's sharper, has better overall exposure, and also better shadow detail. For Morgans, you need to be careful with light positioning to avoid the "circles under the eyes" effect that #1 shows.

Set 2, beyond any doubt. Are these both full size?

Looking at them again, #2 is sharper, but the image is also smaller, so it's hard to make a direct comparison. The reason why I didn't care for #2 was the clipped highlights.
