EUBOIA (Euboea) or KHALKIS (Chalcis) was the Nymph of a fresh-water spring, well or fountain of Khalkis, the main town of the island of Euboia (central Greece). She was a daughter of the Boiotian river-god Asopos whom Poseidon abducted to the island.

... man, this Greek "stuff" is priceless!!

Chi alpha lambda are the first three letters in Chalkis. My example shows the legend retrograde but the Greeks were not always consistent on the question of writing direction and even wrote some documents 'boustrophedon' or every other line the opposite way. I place the eagle flying right but see how one could see it as rearing back, head up, with snake in talons. I have no idea how the designer saw it. I might add that I also place my turtle of Aigina swimming to the side (left so the head is down) rather than up as do so many but I see the original as looking down on the turtle so it could be shown any way and be equally OK with me. Upa and down are relative matters. Ask anyone in Australia or New Zealand how they can walk around upside down all the time and see what kind of look you get.

My coin is ashamed being so much worse than yours. It does have the XAL retrograde but no minor type.

Yeah, although now I have a new parrot (since my previous one flew away). Both my old and new parrots are Quakers.

If you know how to train and take care of them properly, then not really.

=> They are very cool looking birds ...

Yah, many moons ago, I lived with a girl that had a Cockatiel (hmmm, that didn't sound very good, did it?)

... anyway ... it was an okay pet, but at times it was very loud and irritating (very similar to the girl that owned it)
