I'm sure I'm over paying for this. But my fiance choosed to bid on this. It was open in my computer and I don't know what was going on in his mind. Now we have to buy it. I was hoping someone else would bid but no luck there.

I wouldn't go over about $275 to $300.

But that's just me.

I just got off the phone with them and I must say they were pretty nice about it and said they'll cancel it. Usually they have a cancellation fee but they'll waive it for this time. I'm so glad.

Who were you buying it through?
I would like to know because they seem to be treating you right.
They didnt have to waive the fee. I respect that.

Its Teletrade. This is the first time I bid on one of their items. I was surprised too. Thought I'll have to buy it.

Barber halfs are hard to find in that grade. I just looked through the heritage auctions, and good luck getting one from the top 2 for under $400 by the time you get it in hand.

I would definitely have gone over $300 for that coin.

Shatsi,

I didn't mean to sound like I thought you made a mistake not getting it, I just personally think that is a decent price for the coin. I think under $400 is good based on heritage, occasional ebay auctions, etc, from my searching. The great thing is that Teletrade let you out of the auction which is really cool and signs of an A+ company IMO. Hopefully with a little searching you will get one a bit cheaper.

I hear you Thundercoin. If I had the funds I would consider keeping it. I love the look, just don't have the funds right now.

Going along what u said Thundercoin, I was searching in Heritage and I agree with you, this grade and eye appeal seems rare.
