Susanlynn9 Forum Mom United States 5877 Posts	Posted 03/20/2007 9:12 pm The P mint Morgan actually has no mint mark. This is a Philadelphia minted coin. The auction that you are looking at is for authentic coins. However, I don't much like the coloring of the coins. It may just be the lighting, though. This looks like a reputable seller and shipping is reasonable. There is also a good return policy. I'd say go for it if you're interested. (Moved to ebay Discussions) Report this Post to the Staff

cpfull Pillar of the Community United States 603 Posts	Posted 03/20/2007 9:27 pm I hope so, I have about 8 of them. The P is for the Philedelphia mint, but the coin itself has no mint mark. Philly didn't use it until the 40's for the first time (I think War Nickels). I think people put the P in the descriptions because Morgans have so many different ones, D,S,O,CC and P, and I might be forgetting one. Report this Post to the Staff
