Poll Question
As I write this, Silver is at $33.00 an ounce. Which do you think will happen first: Silver hitting $25.00 or $40.00 an ounce?

Poll Choices
 $25.00 an ounce
 $40.00 an ounce

I'm kind of torn between the two. On the one hand with its current downward trend, $25 an ounce does seem possible. However with and the upcoming election $40 an ounce looks good too.

I'm in the $25 crowd. At least I hope it goes down to $25. I haven't bought for a while now and I'm getting the itch!

Touching would be fine. I tried to pick two numbers that were semi-equidistant from $33 and far enough away to be a challenge; $25 and $40 seemed to fit the bill.

After last year I am bearish heading toward X-mas as often stated so no point to mention I voted 25....

My problem is (esp in fantasy football), I lock in to much on the past season efforts, and forget the NFL stands for NOT FOR LONG, lol....

Guys like Vince Young, Tebow, Cam Newton, RGIII who dominated in college are now in the NFL and Dz take about one year to adjust, look out sophomore seasons. And where is Vince Young at now, bankrupt via millions blown an out of the league. Even though he did shine that national title season at Texas....

A fair comparison to feeling as if you have pmz figured out, via the "Not For Long" league, lol....

As to say new year with problems never seen before heading into an election eh....

I'm in for the $40. I think it is solidifying its base right now and is going to bounce off the $32-33 range to go higher the week preceding the election.

I voted $40 as the more likely scenario. Not to drag politics into this but......if Romney is elected then $25 is more likely. Obviously I voted $40 so you know who I think will win the election. :)

It's all subjective. People enter into the game at different times so their timelines are tunnel-visioned. You want to buy more you want it lower, you want to sell off a bit you want it higher. That's how I'm reading most of the responses on this forum when it comes down to this topic.

I want it to hit $40 before $25, but more specifically I want the G:S ratio to be higher so I can buy more gold for my silver, followed by a swift tanking of both to regain a silver position. One can dream...

I voted for $40 because it has been going up month after month since the mines in Africa went on strike. Another reason is I know that the elections will have some weight on what direction the market turns even though precious metals are a global commodity!

I also voted for $40 because of all the financial problems in the world, the US election, fiscal cliff, etc. Sure, $25 would be nice and I would buy a good chunk on a dip like that but $25 an oz. silver would also equate to a very strong US dollar rally and I just don't think that the old girl has it in her. :-/

I voted $40 because $30 looks like a solid support right now and there are too many crazy things going on in the world. I think $40 will happen before years end.

I honestly have no idea, but I'm hoping for a brief dip down to $25 so I can stock up some more and then it can go to $40 (and beyond!)
