Assuming that is indeed the reason for the star, the premium on your coin would depend on the premium for a cameo example in this grade. According to numismedia, a PR-66 is worth $77.50 while a PR-66 Cameo is worth $137.50. Based on those two figures, my guess is your example could be worth about $100. Report this Post to the Staff

From what I've seen, it's about a 10-20% price premium. Even though I'm not that familiar with the series, I would think the NCG price guide which is more appropriate for slabbed coins than numismedia. It's listed at $77.50 in PF66. Bryan1315 Bedrock of the Community United States 14454 Posts	Posted 10/18/2012 11:57 am I actually watched a accented hair in PF-66* sell for over 140 bucks and one the same grade without the * sold for around $90 just the other day at GreatCollections so I would say somewhere around the $140.00 mark is what it would be worth. Now if it had the word "cameo" behind it then it would be a $300.00+ coin as one of them in PF-66* sold for $335.00 the same day Edit: evidently it was somewhere else I saw the 66* and 66 plain accented hair selling because I don't see them now.
