The first one looks at least AU-58 and could very well be MS. I am not quite sure about the color of the second coin but it does appear to grade around a EF. The third one might be slightly overdipped but I think would probably be considered market acceptable. I think it would grade the same as the first. All nice coins!

This is the first times these coins have been out of their flips since 1987.
I've only been collecting for the last 10 years or so...but I'm assuming they used to dip coins 25+ years ago, right?

Do you think any of these will come back IMPROPERLY CLEANED from NGC?
I sent some early Capped bust halves my grandfather got from the same store all of which came back improperly cleaned. (1807 50/20 XF Details, 1835 UNC Details, 1838 AU Details)

What seems to be the issue with the second coin to make it only EF?

Wish I was better at taking pics, these coins are so much better looking in hand.

From what I read on another forum, ezest(aka jeweluster) was first used commercially on 8/8/1951 but it seemed to have first been made for use on jewelry and later adapted to coins. If I remember correctly from what I have read, during the 1970's there was a preference for blast white coins and as a result many coins got dipped. Please do correct me if I gotten any of the facts wrong.

I think the first one will most likely back in a problem free holder. The hazy kind of milky look especially on the obverse, is just making me a bit unsure if the second one will will grade problem free. The hair under liberty, face, and wingtips, IMO show signs of wear. IMO, wear on silver tends to show up as flat surfaces that have a dull, dark gray appearance. Also, I don't see the luster or level of detail for darkly toned coins to suggest a higher grade. The third coin appears to have a sort of greasy/shiny luster like on the picture of the reverse which might suggest overdipping or it could be just a result of the lighting.

I think only the last will come back with AU Details. The first is MS60, The Second is AU-55.
Rest in Peace

Impossible to tell based on the pictures. The first one *looks* AU-58 details mild-moderately cleaned. Second is definitely unnatural surfaces, possibly corroded, with an AU-53/55 grade. Third is the same as the first but with a higher chance at MS if the pictures are inaccurate and less marks.
