Even if I found a shred of positive info on this person or supposed 'grading service', I still wouldn't buy anything from him. One has only to look at his negative feedback reactions.
I think we can all agree that at one point or another a negative feedback happens...sometimes its just unavoidable, as you can't please all people all the time.
The problem here though, is his responses to his feedback. If you get a negative feedback and resort to such childish responses in all capital letters boasting that you're a power seller with a feedback score of over 20,000 and then end the sentence with "NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU!", you can be pretty much guaranteed you're going to lose a large baseline of your regular customers.
And all of this would be based on a legitimate seller. This guy's clearly a fraud. Steer way, way clear....into the ditch if you have to.

I think they probably do their own slabbing, but the coins I have gotten are definitely outstanding. I ordered some more and going to see if PCGS agrees. I actually expect to see PCGS upgrade a couple.

Fraud? Why do you say that? I see nothing fraudulent going on here. He places a grade on his coins. Are you going to tell me everyeone here doesn't do the same? And that him doing so is somehow fraudulent? Hardly.
As for his response to the feedback. So? His reaction, while not necessarily the smartest thing, is far from fraudulent.
And you insinuate he is not legitimate. Again, based on what? The coins are real. You get the item you paid for. Etc etc. So why do you say run from this seller? You are making extremely negative comments about someone with no legitimate explanation of your accusations.
All this in your first post.

Why are we dragging months-old topics back to the surface?

I did not do the dragging, but I will say I did not even look at the date on the original post. LOL

I would assume chuckno8 ran across a GAS slab, did a search and this thread popped up. Not realizing how old it was he posted to it which brought it up to the top.

Since we are talking about this seller, they are no longer a registered user on ebay. I remember back when he had tons a coins listed but I guess enough people complained or something and shut him down for now.

I seem to remember a recent change in ebay's rules that said you can't mention a specific grade for a coin unless it has been certified by one of the top three grading companies, so perhaps that is why they are no longer a registered user.

Quote: So what tier is this? 12th Tier. It'd be 13th Tier except the baggie is zip-lock style and not simply taped shut.
