Ive seen those slabs before but cant find anything on the company at all if it is even a company and not some basement operation. They dont even appear on any website lists of grading companies that I've found. I found one list that looked real complete but the link wasnt allowed so I cant post it

GSA appears to be that one ebay vendor's own operation.

GSA is a fourth tier self slabber that has been around for about eight months to a year. The shells are those developed by a company called Certified Silver Investments. CSI started off years ago marketing NGC look alike slabs and then began their own slabbing service using this slab shell design. Their slabbing service did not last long, and they became a marketer of the shells to various other fourth tier services. At least somewhere between ten and fifteen other "services" have used this slab shell. Quote: OldSkoolMadSkilz, report him to e-bay. Report him for what? He hasn't done anything against the rules has he?

I bought a coin from him before, a morgan labeled MS66, however I didn't pay anywhere near a price for true MS66 and I knew it wasn't that grade either. I broke it out and it is a nice coin, worth what I paid. If you look almost all the coins that seller has listed in those slabs are MS66, not really anything below that.

Fourth tier? How low does it go? Their barcodes aren't even real. Can I become a fifth tier grader? I have a stapler, a sharpie and extra flips.

Try this one, RCGS Rare Coin Grading Service RCGS And people though NCCA was odd. This has the be the simplest "grading service" out there. Why spend money on a slab shell? Put your coin in a Three Cent 2X2 along with a label and run both of them through a laminating machine. Rare Coin Grading Service even used this simplicity as a selling point, pointing out that "cracking out" your coins to put them in a album could be accomplished with just a pair of scissors.

Love it. And it's totally secure. To copy it you'd need to go to the trouble of finding the same fonts for their labels and drive to Office Depot for business card lamination stock.

Quote: and an airtight Jbuck You are right, I am off by one. Sixth tier uses the electronic label maker and seventh uses a Sharpie. Quote: Does a printer count? Yes, but only with Avery labels.
