Agreed....
Absolutely no intent on Sean's part to deceive.
There's not too many choices when it comes to placing the date, denomination and grade on a 2x2.

After seeing these, I could tell there was no intent on deceipt. I like the format because all the data is readable in boxes for 2x2s... I'm sorry I haven't written my flips like that and am tempted to start!

Always buy the coin and NOT the handwritten 2X2 or the TPG packaging. Remember that if YOU can really learn to grade coins properly you can make lots of CASH. As to Bob Armstrong a true gentleman and one of the better graders around for most Canadian coin series.

I have bought a coin from Bob graded at F15, and when it came back from ICCS, it is VG10.

I would resubmit it. Bob isn't perfect, but he really conservative.

Greetings, all! Pleased to discover this form, and intrigued to see myself referenced in the context of Bob Armstrong 2x2's. I cut my teeth in this business learning from Bob, and early on adopted his attribution format simply because it was well-organized and made logical sense (in my own case, frankly, my hand-writing was never up to the standard of Bob's). Indeed, his grading was (and still is) so recognized and steady, that there were a couple dark periods where "others" emulated his hand-writing with fraudulent intent. Fortunately, I believe those days are behind us...

Well, CCF members, this is your unique opportunity to bend the ear of the Canadian Coin News Trends editor... I am sure Sean would welcome comments from the members, as he must be getting weary of hearing demands for Twoonie updates!!

Personally I've always found Sean's grading to be more conservative, especially when it comes to Victorian silver, but both are still much better than PCGS, NGC, ICG, ANACS, etc...
