I am going to reserve awesome for the CCF members who sell to me. They truly are the best.
Vette1986 is ok, I have had good luck with them and no issues. Generally their photos are good and what you see is what you get. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again from them.

I've purchased several coins from this seller over the past several years. The coins are very well represented by the pictures. I've never had a bad experience.

Initially, years ago, I didn't like this one. That was before I learned to tune out the verbiage and concentrate on what was being physically presented. They've always offered reasonably-accurate images and never hid flaws with lighting or postprocessing. I've never heard a bad word about their integrity. In a nutshell, they've overcome my initial suspicion and earned a measure of respect. You could do worse. Just know what you're looking for, and what you're looking at, and (to use a  expression) bid with confidence. |

Bought one coin from him but it was just like the pictures. Not a bad seller.

Don't like the description and overgrading in the blurb but as people have pointed out the pics are good enough to grade for yourself. Have purchased from in the past and will do again if the price is right.

I have bought from them in the past and would do so again. You do have to look at the pictures instead of the description but you will get what is pictured without having to worry about being disappointed when the coin arrives. He is also one of the fastest shippers I have purchased from in the 16 years I have been on ebay. There is only a handful of sellers I will say that about that I have dealt with on ebay |

He's one of the extremely few that will ship to Canada for free or for very minimal eg. $2.00 on items such as an album filled with coins. I've purchased a few items from them with no issues.

One of my favorites. His pictures are large enough to see the details and accurately grade. My last purchase was about three weeks ago. The auction closed on Fri night. He mailed early Saturday and I had the coin on Monday.  Like others have mentioned, ignore his verbiage and opinions on grade and do it yourself. |

I have purchased several coins from this seller. They are exactly how they pictured, the seller is not trying to oversell their conditions, and a very fast shipping after payment is posted. I would buy from this seller again.

IMO, this seller scrubs ALL COINS. When searching for any silver I "exclude" two sellers. vette1986 and theconsignmenthub They both scrub everything and IMO this is one of the worst things about ebay, how many people buy scrubbed junk from these high volume sellers and give them fine feedback when what they are selling is nearly worthless - numismatically at least. Some pics are hard to "tell" as far as cleanings and scrubbing and all the ways folks alter coins. But vette's are easy to tell and they are all scrubbed. Not as bad as theconsignmenthub but still obvious and consistently altered. IMO, if you pay a cent over melt for anything they sell you are crazy. aboncom is another who sells complete junk - and from stock pics to boot. scardinal is a little better in that a few look original, but many aren't as well so why take the risk? And then those that do buy from these folks will have to try to dump this junk on someone else later. It is bad all around. ebay should ban them - IMO! |

I have never received a coin that was cleaned from him, so he definitely doesn't scrub "ALL COINS". I am sure he has some cleaned ones but you can usually tell by his pictures if they are cleaned or not

Yeah I bought one coin from him and it turned out awesome. Not scrubbed or cleaned at all. Love it.
