Do you guys like the Lunar coin series or the Kokkaburra coin series the best? I have a complete series of both and I can't really make up my mind.
I think the finish on the Kookaburra coins are better than the lunar coins, but on the other hand I think the lunar coin motives are more interesting.

Botha are really nice coins.

I collect both as well... Of the Kookas, have a look at this one, the Perth Mint added this design for the 10 oz coin in 2001 and commenced the Evolution series.

Evolution of the Calendar Reverse

The series is a 5 year series commencing with the " Calendar"in 2001, "Time"in 2002, "Älphabet" in 2003, "Numbers" in 2004 and "Knowledge" in 2005.

I don't usually collect 10 oz coins, but my son gave me the 1995 10oz Kook for Christmas.
does this mean I have to start?

Welcome to collecting from the "darkside".... The Kookaburras of 2005 marks the end of the series from the Perth Mint.
