Just posted this set at the Aussie Coins Forum andwould like to share with members here who are not members of that Forum...

Have a Look

Details of this set is from the COA.

Quote:

This certificate accompanies a four-coin set of the Australian legal tender 2000-dated 1oz silver coins, minted at the Perth Mint and the Royal Australian Mint. This set contains an Australia 2000 Silver Millennium coin,a 2000 Australian Kookabrra coin, a 2000 Australian Lunar Year of the Dragon coin, all struck at the Perth Mint, and a 2000 silver Kangaroo coin from the Royal Australian Mint.

The coin designs feature respectively: a cosmic design of the earth, moon and sun; a proud young Kookaburra perched on a wattle branch; a traditional Chinese Dragon, among the clouds, gazing at a pearl and surrounded by five bats; and a Kangaroo depicted against a backgound of the Australian continent.

All coins in this set are legal tender under the Australian Currency Act and made from 99.9% fine silver. The silver millennium coin is struck to proof like condition, whilst the Kookaburra, Dragon and Kangaroo coins are issued in uncirculated quality. No more than 1,000 of the Silver Millennnium Coin sets will be issued by the Perth Mint.

Just showing the made up of Australian Coins into boxed sets, especially to those who collect Kookas or the Lunars....

This coin set is not featured in either the Maccas or the Rennicks.

Sorry, missed adding this part in for the Gold Goose dollar. Of the 10 that was minted, 2 were destroyed in a Ash Wednesday bush fire.[:p]
