Using the Imperial mint in Milan he had coins struck bearing Postumus's image as Emperor with the cavalry on the reverse (EQUIT or AEQUIT).
Postumus Antoninianus, struck under Aureolus 267 AD at Milan mint.
Obv: IMP POSTVMVS AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right.
Rev: CONCORD EQVIT / S (in exergue), Concordia stg. left, holding patera (with fluid running out) and rudder, foot on prow.
