So I go to my normal bank and ask if they have any rolls of halves, this was not my usual teller, she informs me that she has 4 in the safe. I buy them all, go through 2 rolls and they are all 1971+ and one roll was all from 76. Open the next roll, EVERY one was 65-69...Next roll same thing. I just got 40 40% silver halves.. For those of you that dont believe me, Ill post pics when I get home, just couldn't wait to share. Edited by Twiztid

I was excited, I don't know why you would need pics but here... Lol They were in old looking rolls with "65-69" on them, the tell says they have been in there for a long time.   Like I said, I was just excited, this is my first find like this, now I'm kind of embarrassed for over reacting. Edited by Twiztid

Nice find!! We need pics because we love CRH!! Here's pics of a major score I got one day at my box bank: Out of $190 in rolls they sold me, 6 rolls were in these brown wrappers:  Those 6 rolls were all silver but one coin in each roll.   There were 17 '64's, and all the rest 40%'s. Many of them were BU condition. |

Yea, that was an exciting day! Only happened once in the year since I've started CRH.
Found lots of good halves and some silver in loose teller halves and rolls, BU's, and I mean REALLY BU's, from one score at a BOA. But now there's an older woman there who always checks for silver, so that branch is out.

amazing scores once in a lifetime for sure, whenever I get 100 -200 dollars in halves 100% of the time its someones dumps oh well some people have all the luck haha

The bank people are on to me now lol, she said "I read somewhere about them coin flippers" I said no, I'm a collector/Roll hunter and explained I was looking for anything collectible in the coin rolls, she seemed to be ok with it, after all I don't take any back to them.

My bank rarely has any half rolls at all, let alone ones packed with silver. Great score!
