Hello everyone, I am glad to be back on the internet been away for a while due to illness and moving. Last year I was in the hospital from September through March of this year. The reason that I am writing this is I am working on 1986 World Coin and Bank note set. The most part coins and bank notes that are dated 1986. How ever certain countries, the U.S. being one of them, do not have any notes dated 1986. We do have notes dated 1985 from 1 dollar through the 100 dollar notes, not including 2 dollar note, which goes from 1976 to 1995. So I decided that I wanted notes from the U.S. to be part of my Collection.  I will use notes that would of been used during 1986, there we come back to notes dated 1985. I would appreciate if you could keep a look out for them. I would more then pay a premium above face plus postage for them. Thank you in advance.

Glad that you're back on the net. I think I'd lose my mind without it. LOL
I will be happy to keep an eye out for any 1985 US notes. And I'll look through my pathetic little collection to see if I have any.
But I am fairly new to this so I doubt that I will have any luck -- still it doesn't hurt to look.

Johnny, I think I have a small-face $5 from 1985. I kept it because it would have still been in circulation when I was born (1988), but I have a couple of $1 from my year of birth now, so the $5 is less important to me. Let me know if you're interested in specific serial #s, etc. and I can check out my bill for you.

Ninamason, yes I would be interested in it, right now not looking for special serial numbers just a basic set of the best notes that I can get. I already have a birth year note for 1986 its a new 10 dollar note 2004A and a tombstone note. Libertad Thanks for the info, I already have a Canadian $2 and $5 dollar notes for the collection. Welcome back  Nice Worldwide Coins & Banknotes collection  However, I could not locate any coin or banknote belongs to my country (United Arab Emirates)  Cheers Edited by James4444
