Thanks Moe145! Picked up an addition to my collection today at a local coin show. I feel that I overpaid, but couldnt leave it... there was also a beautifully worn Alabama and a Lynchburg that was graded XF, but I cant believe it would go less than AU... I know from Nickelsearchers thread that this one is a toughie, but I couldnt get them both. Anyway, since I am not comitted to doing just a type set, I am also looking for the different dates/mintmarks I can find. Today, I found this awesome 1926 Oregon Trail to go along with my 1926S. Hope you all like it:

Wow, that Oregon trail is one of the most worn I have ever seen. It may be more worn than Nicklesercher's, great addition to your coins.

The Oregon is indeed an excellent addition to your set HONDO ... Local shows are by far the best way to discover/acquire coins ... and the safest way if you have gained enough confidence as a collector to make your own choices. I say that your new 1926 Oregon is amongst the lowest grade ever seen ... perhaps AG03 ... very nice score indeed. Thrilled to have you on board searching for these tough coins ... and enjoying all you updates. David

Added a coin to my collection today. Received this Booker T. Washington in the mail: Love the coin. Just awesome, but I am not able to clearly identify a date. I'm working on it and I have "seen a 0 and also a 6. Not sure, but I will keep working on it... Either way, its a great addition. I am hoping I will be able to eventually know which year, but we shall see. Thanks for looking!

Truly hoping you can find a date on that lovely coin HONDO ... it would then become the ultimate low-ball BTW ever identified.

That's about the most wear on the reverse of a BTW that I've seen. Find a date!

Congrats on the great find! Wish you the best on your search for the coin's date.
You're quickly building quite an impressive circulated set!

very nice circulated coins. I often enjoy these types of coins more than a pristine one just because of the nice toning and/or patina which can give them really nice character.
