Before I share my modest collection of Circulated Classic Commemoratives, I want to give credit where it is due. I have been %100 inspired by the collections of both nickelsearcher and Not Mint to Be. I looked at their posts and collections until I could resist no more... They both have taken so much time to answer my endless questions, and for that, I am grateful. Big thanks to you both for supporting my growing interest in this series. With that, I wanted to quickly share my collection so far. There are no rarities or valuable examples, but what these coins represent is truly priceless. Enjoy! Maine Centennial, purchased from a forum member: Pilgrim, raw from a local show: Long Island, purchased from a forum member and you may recognize it from another popular thread! I bought this with the Maine. This is one of the most amazing coins I have ever seen: Oregon Trail, raw from ebay: Monroe Doctrine, raw ebay: Sesquicentennial, raw ebay: Stone Mountain, a gift from a very special forum member. It was given to "encourage my growing interest in the series" and it certainly did. For me, this is the coin which started it all: Again, I want to emphasize the fact that all credit goes to those forum members who actually have world class collections. This is my attempt to one day get to that point, but for now, I just wanted to share my progress and thank those who have helped me get started.

A most excellent start on a very challenging endeavor!
You've started off with some very nice (poor?) coins! I wish you the best on completing your set and look forward to seeing your progress here on CCF.
Great to hear about the support you've received from other CCF'ers -- it's part of what makes this forum so good!
Thanks for sharing!

Nice set of seven, very tough to assemble the early type set all circulated. I have a few circulated ones but the rest tend to be more in au bu. This is my favorite circulated one.

A most excellent start HONDO on a truly challenging collection which will provide a lifetime of treasure hunting joy if pursued with some passion. Thrilled to see the photos of your seven coins so far ... you have some very nice examples of these lovely coins. I humbly suggest that zero 'credit' is due to anyone but yourself for your interest and personal knowledge development in the series ... the best we did was contribute some suggestions to help get your started. Looking forward to watching your circulated set develop and of course always willing to offer any advise we can. David ps ... Now in Pittsburgh, PA for work ... breaking my own rule of 'logging in' at a public computer ... hoping this machine does not eat my CCF account.

Thank you all for the nice comments. I have really enjoyed the collection so far and there are tons of subtle and interesting stories and historical facts that come with studying this series. To me, these circulated examples not only represent events in our nations history, they have lived through our nations history and they have the scars to prove it.
I look forward to many years of searching and learning with these coins.
Hopefully I will have more to share soon!

I saw that Vancouver and there is something about it that doesn't look right. Are those scratches under the 1825 & In God or die marks? I'm not thinking at PCGS would grade it.
