What size Air-tites with foam ring, do you guys use for Australian Silver 1 ouncers? 40mm or X40mm?

I'm currently using 40mm with foam rings, the same kind that fits ASEs, for my Lunar Series 1 coins, and they seem to fit just fine. Now, according to Air-tite.com's size chart, I would need the X40mm sized air-tites for both my Lunar and my Kookaburra coins. Is everyone else using X40mm for their Australian Coinage or does the 40mm work just fine?

I'm worried the 40mm case would be too thin and scratch something, but I'm also worried the X40mm might be too big and have the coins just bounce around in there. So, what's your take on this? 40mm or X40mm cases?

Man, I wish there was a universal case that fits every sized coin, regardless of size. Well, besides a roll of seran wrap.

I don't know much about this subject, but I would personally go by the chart. The X40mm may just be a better fit then the 40mm. That is just coming from a by the book guy.

Yeah, I guess your right. I was just being lazy and trying to convince myself that it was ok. I guess, I'll have to eventually order a bunch of those. darn Australia and all their beautiful 1 ouncers. I'm glad most of Canada's coins aren't 1 ouncers or I'd really be in trouble.

I looked at the Royal Canadian Mint's website, and saw a lot of non-1 ouncers that looks so nice.
