here is 2 more graded coins I purchased, I hate that the person before me didnt protect his slabs because they're minorly scratched and now I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

deal with it or send them in with my order to ICCS and take a chance of getting a lower grade.

what should I do?

If they were mine, I would let them be. Although I have a few slabs that are more scratched up, so your look really good.

Nice coinage!

I believe I'd keep them the way they are.

What you can do is this as I have done it before.. Tell ICCS if the grade will remain the same to re-slab it . Otherwise tell them to just cross grade for reference....There is a really good chance the PCGS will re main the same ..Those 2 places dont usually step on each others toes....But the ICG I would bet on 2 grades lower minimum 1 for sure..but I could be totally wrong...

try buffing the icg slab as an experiment to remove scratches. pcgs I would leave in orginal slab almost sure icg will grade lower.

If you send the P.C.G.S. slabbed dollar to I.C.C.S. it will come back an MS-64. It's a nice piece with few bag marks and will easily score an MS-64 with 'em! However, the unfortunate news is 99.9% of all I.C.G. (I.C.G. stands for:I CAN'T GRADE slabs) will always come back a point or two less if sent to I.C.C.S.
I can tell you from the scan the dime would grade MS-64 at best, leave it as is!

I'd leave it like this. MS 65 is a very risky and very lucky grade.

For your plastic holders, there are a few products out there to help:

Yeah... They have good prices for their products, but ridiculous shipping prices to Canada.

I would just leave the coins in those slabs.

My point was an example of the product... do a search on ebay for coin slab restoration products.

Very nice dollar Jakedacc. Has great eye appeal. The slab looks to be in great condition and trying to restore it to new condition may make it worse. I don't think I would do anything to the slab and just enjoy your new dollar the way it is. Very nice additions to your collection.

You can buy a plastic headlight restoration product from Canadian tire that will buff out scratches on hard holders. Nice dollar by the way!

A few years ago I purchased a 4oz bottle of "Slab-Renew" Scratch Remover And Rejuvenator that is made for all slabs, and recommended for PCGS Slabes and comes with 100% refund (includung shipping)...
I couldn't locate a website, but the address is;

SLAB-RENEW, LLC
7623 Wind River
Sylvania, Ohio 43560

I don't remember what price I paid, but cleaned up quite a few slabs and still have about 3/4 of the bottle left... If you do purchase this product, follow the cleaning instructions and DO NOT use paper towels...
Maybe you can find someone else to go in with you and split the price...
