I am not a coin collector but after looking at some of beautiful coins here I want to be. I have had this Morgan dollar for years never considered its grade. Its in pretty good shape. Any opinions on grade and what you would expect to pay for similar one. Thanks

I'm pretty new to Morgans myself. I'd say the obverse is au50 and reverse is au53. I always look at the feathers int he chest of the bird on reverse

Thanks all, I have a pretty good idea what I have now, and know I want an MS-69. That grading site is great.

I think it would probably grade EF-45 but could make AU-50 if there is enough luster.

The Eagle side has some good luster the other side has less. It seems like it could be scrubbed up a little, but I read about that I am not touching it. Thanks.
