This may not be the right place for this, but check out this guy on ebay. The link may not work as I'm sure it will be removed. Crazyness.

Yeah they have been discussed here a number of times over the last couple years. The description is always about the same.

"I am a professional coin collector from the US..." There is something about this line that makes me want to run!

I'm a professional coin collector as well; I go to work as a hobby.

I started collecting coins in 1966 and I don't consider myself a professional coin collector. A "coinaholic" would be much more accurate. Coin collecting is not a hobby it's an addiction. And I refuse to seek therapy for this condition I "suffer" from.

Yes, on one hand, its great to get a chuckle out of something like this. On the other, its sad and depressing. I hope no one falls for these kinds of things, but I can see it happening.

It is described as genuine. If I bought it and it was fake couldn't I get my money back?

The 3 that were listed as sold were also to fake people, you just obviously cant see that now with the sale being taken down. They're obviously to encourage people that "they arent fakes"

Amen to Nicscoin! I am a dealer and I NEVER buy or sell from an add with a stock photo. There are many, mostly, legitimate sellers that advertise an "MS Blahblah". Insert cent, nickel, dime, ect. The "stock" pic is usually of a higher grade coin, such as an MS65 or better. What you get IS an MS coin, but all too often an MS60 to 62. Or the stock photo shows; full steps, full bands, full head, full torch, ect. And the coin you get is softly struck!

Especially for more valuable coins. If they cant be bothered to post a pic of the coin I cant be bothered to buy from them
