Sounds like it could be a KF-3-TPD (Kevin Flynn, Variety 3, Triple punch date) Is there a die crack in the coin at all? Look in the words UNITED Report this Post to the Staff

There are several die cracks - through the tops of the letters of "united", through the bottoms of the letters of the words "states" and "of", and lastly through "ica" and into the stems of the wreath. Much of this legend also appears doubled. At the present time I can't do a picture. Report this Post to the Staff

What reference did you use to identify this coin? I am usually just an 1849 large cent collector and I use Grellman's book for them, but I would like to try this new series.
