My late grandmother started one of those map-type State Quarters folder. She lost interest in completing the folder in 2006, while I pressed on with my own folders, now complete. She passed away in 2010. The folder itself is a little beat up. The quarters are just circulation pulls. What would you do with the quarters and folder?

If it's sentimental to you, you could go ahead and finish it. I'm sure you could roll hunt the ones that are left. Or, you could just set it aside, or spend it for face value. the decision is really what YOU want to do.

I agree. If it has value to you Id probably finish it, if not you could try and sell it on ebay but it wouldnt be an easy sell and the best thing would be to just spend it

I would definitely finish it and put it away to pass on to future generations.

I would say either keep it as it is or finish it. Yotie's advice is pretty good.

Finish it, and frame it. I have one just like it purchased from two daughters selling the last of their fathers stuff at garage sale. The one I got was still brand new in the box, took me awhile to find a frame that fit but it looks pretty nice up on the wall, the plastic frame and paper folder should tone the coins, I know it will fade, I keep it out of the sun, who knows, maybe it will look pretty cool one day.

It sounds like she was collecting it for a reason. Surely not for her to benefit financially, but to complete and pass on to someone else. I did the same thing, probably like a thousand others, your grandmother being one. Finish the collection from circulated coins. It will take more of an effort and time than you expect. Then pass it on to another in the family. The generational ties will create the value. Good luck.
