My newest addition to my Kempson's Coventry Collection is a nice proof example of the Cook Street Gate Dalton & Hamer 269. Just arrived today after getting stuck in the Royal Mail computer/terror incident last month. I was sure hoping it wasn't going to get lost forever as the tracking info took over two weeks to clear up and I was finally issued a new number to track it. Was in Chicago US Customs early this morning and I was really surprised when it was delivered this afternoon almost 1000 miles away. I have another Coventry token even nicer than this one from the same dealer. Hope it arrives faster this time around.

Nice one Westcoin. It is superb, congrats. Looking forward to seeing the one that is even nicer!

Just saying, and no offense meant to anyone, this forum and the Ancients are my way-in-front favourites. Gotta love the history.

Here's one I picked up in auction from foreign shores. This being my favourite series of all the British coins. The forever Iconic Gothic Florin. 1874 Die 38 . Very minor marks has an abundance of lustre GVF in old money prob about AU53 for the US conversion Excuse the bad picture was done quickly on my phone

Afternoon all, Been busy getting a few new bits in. Picked this little number up at auction this week. A 1697 sixpence. A lovely little piece and far nicer in hand than in these images, with some super lustre on the reverse. A departure from my usual copper and bronze, but nabbed a few little silver sixpences on my trawls.

1697 sixpence is amazing. High grade with some original luster. What's not to like about that one.
