Couple of Older copper and bronze Coins. I seem to have some fetish for 1863 Victorian Pennies. I suspect fuelled by the several rare types that as of yet remain elusive. So Here is another one Nothing Special GVF/AEF but probably one of the better years for strike quality. Accompanied by the ever youthful looking (not) George the frog err I mean George III 1806 5 gun ports copper Half Penny D/T NVF

I know several here are not too keen on slabs, but I had to share this success story.

Cherry-picked what I believed to be a 1902 low-sea half-penny from a raw lot on ebay a few years ago. Finally got around to sending it in to NGC last month, and they just posted the certification today. Couldn't be happier with the results:

Another much underrated coin design series George V .500 Silver 1929 English reverse Shilling. Absolute cracker. Very rare to see such hair detail on any George V coins. Has Lovely mottle tones of blues and gold full lustre UNC . Check the rim edges outer reeding I kept them in the shot they are so high and sharp almost looks like a tyre surrounds the coin lol.

A little more expensive but not too much Iconic coin by Pistrucci 1818 .925 Silver crown just over 37 mm and 28.3 grams. A little bonus with this one Higher T stuck over T in SOIT also the O/0 (zero).Come to think of it now I am seeing it again closer I think it might even be O/ sideways O which would be more of an obvious error? No reference of this variety I am sure some more may exist albeit few if any. VF I would say is a fair overall grade . Just a lovely piece of coinage history from one of the heavy weights of our hobby

Back again. Sorry the pics are way below par. Coin refused to behave . I think night pictures are better for some metals esp brass. I think i'll try again but anyroada. Here is a cracking George VI 1951 brass threepence in GEF or better. Full cartwheel lustre . This date in particular out values the 1950 on average at auction by x3 This would probably fetch anywhere between 60-£100 £150 in UNC. So my £15 inc overseas postage was a worthy investment. Doesn't happen a lot but when it does it's greatly appreciated
