I have been wanting a coin of Henry VIII for a long time, and couldn't pass this penny up. It did come with an envelope but no name to try to trace the provenance. I'm thrilled, regardless!

Note to myself since I can't edit my post above.
ex: Henry Christensen mail bid sale, 25 January 1974, lot #210 description - (210) DURHAM. Silver Penny. 1530-1544. King enthroned/ C D at sides of shield for Bishop Cuthbert Tunstall, i.m. Star. North 1813. Very Good.
Also, that shilling is gorgeous. I'd love one in that shape. It looks like a lovely original example with a bit of toning, just the way a higher end coin should.
