About To Start Metal Detecting, What To Buy?

Casutherland Pillar of the Community United States 520 Posts	Posted 10/29/2012 7:05 pm My girlfriend and I want to get a decent metal detector to take up to her farm and search around. It is many acres and is right outside of Nashville. So possible to find many coins and civil war relics. What do you guys suggest that we buy? I have been looking at the Garrett Ace 350 and the Garrett Pro Pointer. Are there any other suggestions. Would like to keep the price around or under $400.00. Thanks Report this Post to the Staff

They just got tired of being spanked on group hunts. You should be able to find a used Explorer in the $400-$600 range. When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...
