It isn't dead yet! Better date yanked from ebay for a decent price. Excuse my less than stellar photos.

Moe: Ya ain't seen nothin' yet ! ... Just ask Log Potato !! I have a good friend who is in need of my expertise with Barbers, and as a result I will be acting as his curator to his collection. He is currently in the # 1 spot at NGC in Barber dimes, and is either # 1 or 2 for the Quarters. I know he is # 2 on the Halves ( as my other good friend, Dr. Shireman, is ranked # 1 in the Halves. I will be reviewing his sets and determining which coins should be regraded - or - "reconsidered".... Which ones to send to CAC and which ones should be sold and replaced as better examples show up...ie: The Eugene Gardner collection, coming up next month. I have been given the task of building a VF/XF Quarter collection for his High School Son. This is just a real fun project. I landed this coin the other day on ebay .... Images not on my iPad,,sorry... Will edit soon.

Justin...Very nice 1898-S Quarter - one of the unheralded tougher dates, IMHO. Nice looking coin - and I know you also have another newp up your sleve, as I went after it an hour after you did. I'm building another VF/XF set of Quarters - for a friend - and its a tough road, as you know. I found this at the same source as the coin you just bought, the 07-S... this is a 5 point upgrade for me:

Submitted two Halves back to PCGS for regrade. Both belong to a friend who had already upgraded these dates, so he was trying to up their value before he ended up selling.
One upgraded, one stayed the same: ( guess I have to grab the images off Photobucket once I am off the iPad )
