A friend mentioned he does well on the weekly Stacks Bowers auctions. Last night I spotted a nice upgrade for my Quarter set: Need to use Photobucket...sorry....

The 1914 Quarter in PC 63 arrived today. Great service from Stacks Bowers !! My cousin's son loves coins as well, and as he was born in 1998, I decided to get him an 1898 Quarter [ not holdered ] I believe the coin is cleaned - but it has decent eye appeal. I'm going to locate a two Quarter Holder to house the 1898 as well as this 1998.

While having my morning coffee, I saw this on ebay. Knowing the dealer - I called him - and we worked out an agreeable price. The 1896-O Barber dime in AU is very elusive; this AU 53 replaces my XF 45

I was wondering how long this short break would be.

Guys, I've got some Barber halves, quarters, and dimes, but they're sitting in a box in the basement of the bank; however, before I took them there, I did take scans of the obverse album pages, and, since those are the only pictures I can post, I've been a little reluctant to post them in this thread. If you guys would be okay with just the obverse images of the coins, I'll go ahead and put them up.

I have no problem with it. Ultimately, I think we need the Generalissi-Moe's blessing.
