My photobucket is messed up...no pictures for awhile... ................never mind..... its up now: I have a friend who no longer wished to have a complete set of Quarters - because he didn't want to buy the Three Keys... I flew up to Atlanta to pick up his set... A typical coin:

Oh my, if that is typical then it must be an outstanding set.

jbuck, I like the full range of grades as well. Let's keep it up. Elbe - Did you pick up this set recently, or is this from a while back when you sold a set for someone? I picked up a few quarters recently.

You have a good eye for original surface coins, LogPotato.

LogPotato....
Its when I flew up to Atlanta back in December 2012
These were Labelman87's coins.
I sold 90% of them - and if I were smarter I would have bought all of them for myself.
Imagine begging someone to buy that 1901-O Quarter and then getting dickered on the price. Maybe not this specific coin but many like it.
This was the collection that contained a 1909-O Quarter in PCGS 55 with a Gold CAC, eventually sold to Paesan. He consigned it a couple of years later to JJ Teaparty and doubled his money - after he resubmitted it to PCGS for an upgrade. It made the grade: AU 58. Its now a POP 3.

I thought that might be the set you were talking about. There sure was some nice coins in that set. Another quarter. A little lower grade than I normally pursue, but it's an S/S and really seet looking. Sometimes I just can't say no.

Just a heads up, your 07-S is actually an 07-S/S.

Really? I'm more of a Bust and Seated half guy. Any premium to it or just a neat kinda subtype? I'll make note on the flip...Thx!

I would say not much of a premium if any. About half the 07-S's I see seem to be the S/S.

Nonetheless, thanks for pointing it out. Always like to learn new things about my coins!
