I'm an amateur with coins as I usually state.
I pulled this from a roll I was searching from.
What is wrong with the 7 as it bends forward?
If this is an error, does it have any value?
Thanks.

I would say PMD no extra value when coins collide with other objects coins hammers or whatever can make the numbers in the date or letters can cause them to be deformed or even pushed in a odd direction. Good eye though happy hunting

Looks like PMD to me as well. The more confusing ones for me are the devices that have a piece that is hit by an object, say a number and it looks like it may be lamination or DD, I hate those ones.

I'm not convinced about PMD. It's a possibility I agree.
My curiosity is the two almost perfect right angle marks
stamped on top of the 9 and 7.
Then there's the total difference between the first
1 and the last 1.
One of the stranger messes on a coin that I have had yet.
Thanks for comments.

PMD without a doubt, you can also see significant contact damage on the rim adjacent to the date.

The damage on the rim goes 4-5 to 10-11 o'clock
angles. None of those lines cross the numbers
or the S mint letter or onto Lincoln.
So many questions...so few answers...lol.

This is an obvious case of post mint damage.
