Did a feeder or some other object damage this coin to the point were it started to peel away from itself later in time? It looks to me like the target areas are somewhat uniform, does anyone else see that? Thanks for looking! Also, slightly rotated die, like those as much as clashes :) The last two pics are not for eye candy, sorry!

I am having a tough time on this one chzman. It doesn't look like the typical LAM to me.I will wait for a pro on this one. The rotation is nice but I think it's within mint tolerances, still a keeper though.

The lamination peel has been folded over, you have a small flapper there.

yes I see that, nice one! So does small mean without imprint on flap?

No,small as a percentage of the over all surface of the coin. I would say mine is also small.

wow thanks for that, what program is that? Do you see the lamination on the rest of the coin up to the top of Lincoln's head? Is it possible that this metal could also raise up even more?

chzman...The program is called GWYDDION and it is FREE. It can do lots of things like 360% rotation analysis, etc. etc.
The link is below and look about half way down the page for those of you who still use Windows.

Here is a quick thing you can do with this software and it was done in about 1 minute...Didn't have much time but shows lamination raised above the surface of your coin.

Darn, I was thinking this may be a 45 deg rotation, do you think I used the program correctly?
