Nice Merc, although I find what is going on under the Y in LIBERTY to be a bit distracting.

I guess you'll be throwing that nasty 1935 in the trash. Who needs that one when you've got the sweet 1940.

No, the 1935 Merc went on to another collector as part of a trade.

Probably barely noticeable when looking at the coin itself. The camera always "sees" things that the human eye doesn't, especially how the lighting is on the subject when photographed. The coin is quite a looker and the dime it replaced wasn't so bad either.

I do not particularly like the upgrade game (being a sentimental sap who cannot let things go), but I do enjoy watching others partake. I have definitely enjoyed your ongoing progress in this endeavour.
