I bought a B&L Scientific Instruments catalog from 1972 and it had a couple pages describing their Macro Setup. Looks like it's mostly Canon FL based but it also shows the B&L Micro Tessar range of Macro Bellows Lenses. This is pretty much the kind of setup I've been using, though with a smaller stand. I love Old School when it works. By the way, does anyone on the group own a Micro Tessar, especially the 72mm? I'm curious how well they work. Here are the scans for the two pages:
