1913-Type-2-Buffalo-Nickel,-What-Do-You-Think

I was wondering if I could get the wonderful members of this forums opinion on this coin. I picked this coin up at a pawn shop a few days ago and know nothing of its past. The pictures show its color pretty well. It is a darker coin.

Thanks,
papashove

I think underneath all of the dirt, you may have an EF coin. Just my opinion.

That is a pretty darn strong horn there. I would say this coin is XF, possibly LOW AU.

I think this coin is AU. Not sure if the toning on this one is due to past cleaning or not and it's a shame about the scratch on the reverse, but the ribbon ends are sharp, I don't see any wear on the cheek and only slight wear on the buffalo and braid. Red Book lists the value of this coin at $25 in AU. Prices on ebay are all over the map - $13.00 to $27.00.

A very strong 20
If you are extra generous, it might be a 40
but not a 60 (that is for sure)
