I picked this coin up at a pawn shop a few days ago and know nothing of its past. The pictures show its color pretty well. It is a darker coin. Not sure if the toning on this one is due to past cleaning or not and it's a shame about the scratch on the reverse, but the ribbon ends are sharp, I don't see any wear on the cheek and only slight wear on the buffalo and braid. Red Book lists the value of this coin at $25 in AU. Prices on ebay are all over the map - $13.00 to $27.00. Report this Post to the Staff
