AU55/58 but could easily be "market-graded" into a 61 or 62 holder.

This one was graded by NGC at AU-58 but was sent to PCGS and got AU-55

That's a shame they gave it a mid AU grade. That's a very strong candidate for 58. What was your goal in crossing it over? Possibly getting an upgrade or you needed it in a PCGS holder?

It wasn't mine when crossed over it was my buddies. I am not sure 100% why he wanted to try to cross it but I am guessing he was just sending in a few coins that weren't very expensive to test NGC against PCGS. He has a few NGC graded coins that I feel were over graded pretty badly and have expressed my feelings to him. With him being a new collector I at first tole him to stick with PCGS,NGC or ANACS when purchasing until he felt comfortable grading himself, when I saw some of his NGC graded coins he had already purchased I told him that until he can grade better he may want to stick with PCGS and ANACS because even though the coins he has weren't big money when he started to buy others a point or two will make a big difference in value of the coin. This was one of the coins we thought was a good AU-58 and NGC had it right on this one. I am pretty sure he cracked it out and resubmitted it to get PCGS's real opinion on the coin without having NGC's opinion to start with

That's a fair grade either way. I'm glad they didn't put it in an MS61 holder as often seems to happen.
