Hello !

I want to understand this one, wich is to sold in a next auction (Baldwin)

Siliqua-Of-Valentinie-I-Not-In-Ric

I can't find it in the RIC for two reasons :

  • Mint-mark is not reglar

  • Rosette-diademed in place of pearl-diademed : just the RIC13g is rosette....

  • The letter A is suspect for me, to "light"....

Have you some information about this one ?

Many thanks

One of the many variety not listed in RIC (not Baldwin but Emporium Hamburg).

Another here listed as RIC 13a var. (for the mint mark), they do not take into account the rosette

Not the same obverse for sure but it could have been engraved by the same hand. The legend font is nearly identical.
