I picked this up somewhere in Southeast Asia during one of my "all expenses paid" vacations sponsored by the US Government in the late 60's. I was told it was a "porcelain coin" from Siam. It's in my wife's collection of world coins but I have always wondered if it really is a coin or not...I am confident that with the breadth and depth of knowledge represented by members on this site someone will be able to inform me about it. Photo'ed in 2x2 holder so some glare, it is still in the "as found" condition but since it is porcelain I am sure a good scrubbing won't hurt it. It is very small, less than 1/2 inch on long side. Thanxz in advance

This is the only info I could find. Looks like there is a book by Althoff,R.

Sammlung Köhler-Osbahr Band II/3: Siamesische Porzellantoken Bilingual section on use, production, inscriptions, money use & other aspects of Thai porcelain gambling tokens; Catalog and 54 oversize color plates of 1400pcs. Most comprehensive work yet on this topic 331p + 54cpl, 8x11",sc, 1994

This pic shows some coins that are close, but I don't think any match perfectly to what you have....
