With so many different modern commemorative dollars there seems to be little said about them. So lets post up a few! BU, proof, graded or in OGP, what do you have? Are there any worn modern dollars out there? Lets see your silver dollars.

What's considered modern? I may have a few from the sixties. I really haven't collected anything newer.

Quote: What's considered modern? The modern US commemorative series began in 1982; the first dollar coin of the series was issued in 1983.

With all due respect to the modern commemorative enthusiasts out there ... Wondering why the current, active 11 page thread on modern commemorative dollars needs to start all over again. https://goccf.com/t/90998Is there some new insight into these lovely coins that suggests we begin anew a thread of showing them? David

Understood muddler ... and your enthusiasm for advocating for this tremendous series is noted and appreciated. It is certainly not my job to keep the CCF 'organized' ... but it does seem awkward in a way to have multiple, con-current threads ongoing discussing the same coins. Perhaps a better approach would have been to 'bump' the existing thread ... I'll leave that decision to the forum admin dudes ... and for now enjoy the tremendous coins that all of you will surely (again) contribute. David

Perhaps a better approach would have been to 'bump' the existing thread ... I have to agree with David. There is no reason why the older thread could not have been bumped. Its last post was only two weeks ago. https://goccf.com/t/90998&whichpage=11
