Hello everyone,

Dunno if I should post it in this topic, if not I'm sorry. This question is concerning the RCM anyways.

I was wondering if any of you had already been in the situation where he/she stiill has coins ordered with the Mint that are were not delivered, but the mastercard or visa was changed, where the number of the card also changed. What should I do now? Call them to say it changed, or simply change the number in my profile on the site, but then again the 3 digits on the reverse of the card were not given while placing the order.

Will appreciate any help. Thanks in advance :)

I would call them, just to make sure it gets changed in their systems.

It depends a lot on what you mean by your credit card "changed".

If it was a renewal or the card was replaced by the issuer for any reason, then you're likely ok. Your card was pre-authorized or verified when the order was taken; the issuer will honour that authorization on your old cc number and charge it to your account. Generally, it will show up on your statement under the old card number. Their systems are pretty well designed and this is a common situation.

However, if you cancelled one card, and this is a new card, then of course you'll need to contact the mint with the new card information - just updating your profile is not enough to retroactively change prior transactions.

As Rockdaddy said, it's worth a call to your cc issuer and the mint to ensure you have no issues.

Definitely call them. While receiving to my 20 for 20 coin subscription, my credit card number changed. I just called the RCM and updated their records.

Same thing happened to me. They just sent me an invoice when the coins were available and I called up and gave them the new card info. Changing it in your profile won't help as they store the info with the order as it was at the time of the order.

I called them and told that I have new card. They changed it for all the outstanding orders.

I had to call them twice...I rec'd a bill for one in the mail, called with relationship to that order...changed on profile and 3 weeks later, got another bill for another item. Called again and they went through every order outstanding to make sure they were all good to go with the new card. Well worth the call.
